Club women to Purchase CookerThe Shady Grove home demonstration club met in a business session Tuesday afternoon to decide on a pressure cooker and an automatic sealer for the club. A committee was appointed by the president to make the purchase of the cooker and sealer.Mrs. H. M. Terry was elected as new council delegate and Mrs. Marvin Alexander was made a new reporter for the Messenger.Mrs. L. B. George gave a talk on her wardrobe. She also told of the style show to be given soon. Mrs. George is aiding several of the ladies to cut their foundation patterns, in order that they might, be able to assist her in the styleshow.The visitors for the afternoon were Mrs. Carrie McElyea, Mrs. Donald Wat.es and Miss Lorine Wallace from the Mexico club.The hostess Mrs. H. M. Terry, served delicious refreshments during the social hour. All members are urged to attend the next meeting June 19, which will be held with Mrs. C. W. West. It is another important business session.—Reporter.
