For years it has been his custom to make the trip in this manner, and no.matterwhat comes up to disarrange his planshe invariably succeeds in carrying out this part of the program. The aged man is amply able to ride in as good a buggy as could be made, or evenmake the trip in his own automobile, should he so desire, but he insists on ■addling his trusty horse and making the journey of thirty miles on the ani-maTs back. He has an easy-going horse and a saddle that has been inservice many years. For one ot his age the trip is regarded as remarkable, but Mr. Eggers says that he thoroughly enjoys the exercise and that after he gets home he feels as spry as a two-yearold.ceutlcenn a $2 writl natui semfcconUpromthe SProtlt;iallegProbliamAller be a] Murr first appliistraiadmlordeibear!when
