The Reading Circle.This congenial company, the result of the efforts of several ladies of this place, propose to have their last ami final meeting, 011 next Wednesday, at the residence of Miss Tillic Goodrich, Sixth Street, west of Broadway. This is-the final meeting, from the fact that vacation is at hand, and the lady teachers of our school, who are the officers, members, in truth the Society itself, will, most likely, at the close of this term, bid Peru a permanent adieu.The chief object of the meeting, 011 next Wednesday night, is to have a general good time, aud to bid the association Farewell. The President, Miss Kate Leebrick, will deliver the valedictory, and declamations and essays are expected of several of the members, and a pleasant, profitableevening may be relied upon.The members of the circle, with their friends, are cordially invited to attend. Let there be no lack of ‘chips’ on the occasion.
