Two Winning BondsHamedThe “Revengers” are the win ners in the Civic Player sponsored “Battle of the Bands,”!1 it was announced Thursday!; night at intermission of “Guys' and Dolis.The band received a $75 prize for its first place position.The band, composed of five young men who have played together nearly a year and a half, is managed by Marvin McRae, of Galveston.Members of the band are Robert Winters, 14; Donald McRae, 15: Rick Rhine, 15; Matt Marshall, 15; and Russ Vav-ricka, 15.All members except Marshall will be students at Lewis Cass High School in the fall. Marshall will attend high school in Kokomo.Second place winner in the Battle was the “Sound Reaction,” which received a ?25 prize.
