Brown]In an auditorium yn.cked with people, 120 Huron high school seniors, members of the forty-third graduating class, were given diplomas last night signifying four . years of successful high school work. fEighty of the graduates were girls. 40 were boys. To the outstanding boy in ! the class—Lloyd Sherman—the American Legion presented a scholarship which carries with it a year’s tuition to Huron college, the equivalent of S150 in cash. Weir, commander of tl\e Huron post.Only Boy On Honor Roll lt;Lloyd Sherman is the only boy in the senior class on the honor roll, which means that he lias an average of 90 percent or more for all four years of liis high school career. He has earned athletic letters in football and track, and at the time of his graduation was secretary-treasurer of the H-club.He is a swimmer of considerable ability, he taught life saving for one entire summer. He is at present employed as a life guard at the Huron swimming pool.
