He certainly has labored at all times for the ad-vancement of boys. ‘Bill’ Blakely is known by everj boy Hn Shelbyville and is a ‘pal' of everyone and even more so, for he took his merit badge in swimming in March along with scouts of his troop. All organizations with which Blakely has been connected in the past are dealt a severe blow, but I am sure we all are glad ol‘ the advancement made by him.” Blakely was presented with a pair of field glasses from the scouts of troop one and the *cout council, which was present for the occasion, presented him a fine folding camera. Of course he had to respond and with tears in his eyes he could only say, “Thank you.”All the mothers of the church hold William as their son and every one realizes what he has done for its advancement. The sentiment of all present was that there could be no more noble and true a character than Blakely and it is with the best wishes of success that the people of Shelbyville see him leave their midst. He will leave Sunday, June 10,. for his new position.rrrt PT.1V IT f .1 PIT .1 rIt que? by ci of r How estal ItqueadianNewoneFMETCM: terta Hun on e the : tablf
