OPPOSITION VOICED TO SUNDAY PICTURESt-*w-Sfs!)AT JASONVILLEJASON VILLE, Ind., June 6.—Several local churches, including the Christian, Methodist Episcopal, United Brethren and Baptist, at their services Sunday passed resolutions in opposition to the operation of moving* picture theatres in Jasonviiic on Sunday. The Presbyterian church took similar action on the preceding* Sunday. The two moving picture theatres continued to operate last Sunday. The committee of the Ministerial association and the W. C. T. U. sent witnesses looking to continued prosecutions. Last Friday the manager of t j the Crescent theatre was convicted in . . the circuit court at Bloomfield for I violation of the Sunday law by opeis a ting his show on Sunday.
