Daisy M. Burd, a spiritualistic medium and told him that if he comd live over in this world he would spend his money and nor he so saving is the claim of Sylvester Burd, a weilto-do real estate dealer for the ■past 11 years who has been holding private seances at his big stone mansion here,Burd has studied spiritualism 30 years he says.Jeremiah Bender left a fortunte of$1 0,000 to dbtant relatives when he died.H© had spent .his life on the farm west of here working from morning till night. He never bought anything except what was absolutely necessary. Burd say* the spirit told him that Bender was sorry he had lived as he faadiwhile on earth.Burd says that he aBo received amessage from a spirit which claimedto be that of a young man who shot himself for a painted faced girl. Burd says the spirit* predicted that Buffalo Bill would .be in a wreck and that, theprediction was correct. He also say*tie spirits have told him where there1 is a box of gold but that the owner in which it is hidden will not let himsearch.
