Monty CameronTops in StateCOLLEGE STATION. TEX Monty Cameron. 17, of Childress County was named the state's top 4 H tractor operator Thursday at the Texas 4 H Hound up on the AMUniversity Campus Cameron, winner of District 3, bested the winners from the other 11 Texas districts and received a gold watch for his win He will compete later in the year at Minneapolis, Minn , against the state winners from all states west of the Mississippi.Cameron is the son of Mr and Mrs Montie Cameron of Kirkland and was a spring graduate from Childress High School.He has been named winner of a $4,(xio scholarship from the Houston Fat Stin k Show for Ins 4 H and scholastic achievements
