DuplicateTournamentScheduledLUFKIN— The Lufkin Duplicate Bridge Club will hold Its first annual Sectional Bridge Tournament June 13, 14 and 15 at the Angelina Hotel.Tournament Director John Harris said that the playing fee for ail events will be $3per player per session.A number of trophies will be provided for the tournament bythe following businesses:Lufkin Motors, First Bank Trust, Lufkin National Bank, Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Mobil Oil Co., Angelina Chamber erf Commerce, Tex Lam, Inc., Texas Foundries, fine, and Oakley-M etc a If Funeral Home.Also by Curtis Swain Insurance, Kerr's Sheet Metal, An* gelina Hardwood Sales, DavisInsurance Agency, Land O' Pines, Rich Travel Agency, Holiday Inn Restaurant, Ralph New Motor Co., Beam's Restaurant and Safeway.Also by Austin's, Clark's, Joe Lackey Motor Co., Canon Parker, Rudd Cleaners, Angelina Chevrolet-Cadillac Co. and Cavanaugh-Peden Drug.Officers of the Lufkin Duplicate Bridge Club are Ralph Erelle, president; Billie Bob Carson, vice president; Alyce Williford, secretary; Marie Leatherwood, treasurer; and Pat Broughton, reporter.Tournament chairman will be Ralph Eselle and he can be contacted for further information concerning the tournament.Membership in the American Contract Bridge League is required for participation in all events.
