Edward Emanuel FalistoneRYDERWOOD — Ryderwood resident Edward Emanuel Falistone died Sunday, June 2, at Providence Centralia Hospital. He was 88.Bom Jan. 23, 1908, at Boone, Iowa to Oscar and Alice (Peterson) Falistone. he had been a resident of Ryderwood for 23 years.He attended school in Minnesota and was married to Lillian on Sept.3, 1946, in Brattleboro, Vt. From 1942 through 1944, he served in the U.S. Army.A member of the Minnesota and Iowa American Legions, Iowa Amvets, and the Disabled American Veterans, he loved to travel, read and visit with friends and family. He attended the Lutheran church.He worked in a furniture/piano factory.In addition to his wife, Lillian, at home in Ryderwood. he is survived by his brother, Carl of Springfield, Minn.; two stepbrothers, Sidney of Castle Rock, and Orville of Vancouver. Wash.; his sister, Mildred Reece of Boone; two sons, Edward Robert of Longview, and Donovan Carl of Centralia; and a grandchild.Memorials may be donations to Multiple Sclerosis Society.Arrangements are under the direction of Fir Lawn Funeral Chapel in Toledo.Pm) Fuwral Nafc»A graveside service (or Edward Emanuel Falistone will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lone Hilt Cemetery, Toledo.
