One of oui' most looked-for-ward-to entertainments every year, was brought to us by the i-'lrst National Bank of Chicago, This is a group of 6ft, members of their personnels* They came in two buse brought their own instruments, music, ami ptatforin of several levels. This- is the-fifth, time the chorus has trekked out here to entertain us, and do we ever appreciate their lovely, lovely music;.-Thank you, Paul Nettinga -leader; Ferris Healy and Helen Nettinga - accompanists; Frank Kurjanski - soloist, and the Chain Gang - Bob Pomerenka-bass viol, George Ahrendt -accordion, Bill Sladek saxophone, and every member of the Chorus.Altogether, their sacred music,6 spirituals, folk songs, comedies and popular songs, livened every heart* somewhere down the line, and we were indeed loath to bid them goodie, e after a heart stirring i efi-dition of one of the most glor ious hymns ever written, the “Battle Hymn of the Republic”. Next time will be our sixth annual- performance, and we'll be iboking forward to it. They were generous and obliging. We are grateful. Thank you.
