NEW PABIS NEWS.The workmen who are making repairs on the Evangelical church are greatly improving the 'appearance of the structure.Robert Encell, Esq., of Warsaw, passed through our place last Saturday en route for Renton, where he delivered the address at the Memorial excercises. «We have had an unusual amount of rain in our locality, which makes all garden and held products look extremely prosperous.Mr. L. L. Johnson, of Holdrege. Nebraska, a former resident of this place, is expected here about the tenth ofJune. He will remain two or three weeks.Abe Strobm has been making some improvements on his business house in the way of painting, etc. It would be well for others to follow his example.Mr. Stein, of Warsaw, Miss Clara Metzler of this place and Miss Edna Miller of Goshen, visited Miss Harper at her home at Richvilie last Sabbath.The Rodibaugbs are running their woolen mill to its full capacity, with a full corps of experienced hands.David Dausman is erecting a line barn on his farm a mile south of town.
