The value of the whiskey and beer seized at j Leigeber’s residence is estimated at $500. Leigeber became greatly excited, while the raidwas in progress, and threatenedto raise a mob to dispose of thedeputy sheriffs- Solicitor S- J.Griffin quited him down.At Joe Baier’s some full casksof beer, a number of emptycasks and piece of casks ol whisKey were found.arMixonin the oldArndt building, three and one half casks of beer and elevenempty casks wrere found.At Jesse Brown’s three fullcasks of beer and a basket olbeer 011 ice was found.The largest haul was made atWill Scheuing’s saloon, heretwenty casks of beer, 11 quaitsmfrwai0111Lnof whiskey,75pints and hallon ice,pints of whiskey and a barrel ofwhiskey were found.
