KRISTI ERICKSON will teach country-western dance lessons at the Whites boro neighborhood facility beginning Tuesday.CW dance lessons to be offeredCountry-Western dance lessons will be offered at the Whitesboro neighborhood facility on Tuesdays from 8-9:30 p.m. Beginning Aug. 5. the lessons will last 4 weeks.Kristi Erickson, owner and instructor at Kristina’s Studio in Sherman, will be the instructor for the class. She has been studying dancing since she was 3 years old, a total of 18 years.She has taught in Grayson County for 7 years and has also taught at dance conventions all over Texas.She teaches all types of dancing and works with ages 3 through adults.Kristi has been the winner in several beauty pageants, winning the talent award in the Grayson County “Our Little Miss” pageant in 1969 and crowned “Grayson County Our Little Miss” in 1970. Later, she won other talent awards in beauty pageants.Kristi, a member of NADAA, the Dallas Dance Council and the Southern Association of Professional Teachers, recently attended a country-western workshop.Fee for her class at the neighborhoodfacility will be $30 per person, $50 per couple.Persons interested in joining the class may register by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department, 400 Wilson Street, 564-5964.
