WEBER S BAND WINS THE PRIZE.John C. Weber's Grand Military Band proved itself to be the best among forty musical organizations that were in attendance at the recent Grand Lodge Meeting of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks at Baltimore, July 20th to 25th. Competent judges were employed to decide as to the merits of the contestants, and they unamimously awarded the prize of $1,000 to Weber. *\ lt;i% CThis is the Band that has been engaged forthe Maysville Elks Fair, August 10th, 20th,21st and 22d, and will be composed of thesame musicians who were in attendance at Baltimore, thus insuring a grand musical^treat in addition to the many other attractions that will be otfered for the entertainment of the Elks Fair patrons.
