Coston entertained their parents recently in th* home of their teacher with music that they have learned during the summer months. Included fn the performers were fo'1” beginners in piano. Sylvia Pilgrim, De-boah Lane. Evelyn Rankin and David Godbold.The program, which seemed to be appreciated by the n°rents, was most informal, with the group singing and the children accompanying some of the numbers. Vocal solos were sung by Susan and Cheryl Kriner and Truel Hicks, and music hv the masters was played by Michael Gaddis, Emily Martin ar*4 Martha Bankston. To add variety to the program, Linda Reynolds, Sue Carolyn Dykes and Michael Gaddis played organ selections.Others participating on the evening’s program w'ho have not been mentioned were Dale Gaddis. The affair was called “Beat-nick Party,” and the rooms were appropriately' decorated with modern art painttngs and other suitable symbols.The young people arrived inproper attires and. after admiring each other’s get-up, the boys and girls danced to popular recordings.
