Washington Band Is Attended by HundredsDURLANDVILLE — Several hun-drri persons attended the annual n rcert by the George Washington Band of Montgomery on the lawn jf the Orange Farm, the county welfare home near Goshen, yesterday afternoon. The band was dieted by Miss Joyce Van Curenif Middletown. Richard W. Mil-bum of Middletown was master oxceremonies and soloist.The residents of the home andrjtfts were welcomed by Jerome K Simon, county welfare commissioner. Attending yesterday's cancel was Robert D. Campbell of Mmeola, L. I., Nassau County public welfare commissioner.The band program included the vnerica the Beautiful march byMivsud; Salutation march; the Spirit of Liberty overture by Miller; Will You Remember from Sigmund Romberg’s May time; the Indiana State Band march; the popular True Love by Cole Porter; selections from the Red Mill by Victor Herbert and the Bombasto march.Also Henry Fillmore's Americans, Wa March; the PreUiosa overture by Skaggs; Old Timers Waltz; the Glow Worm by Paul Lincke; Our Director, a march by Bigelow; a hy..in the Old Rugged Cross and the national anthem. Thomas Harris. former director of the. band, conducted the bandsmen in the Dunalp Commandery march.Mr. Milbum’s program includedwo ballads, West of the Great Divide and Let the Rest of the World Go By; the hymn and the rational anthem.
