Members were Mrs. Lib Bartik, Miss LuAnne Shumaker, Mrs. Sadie Koser, Charles Davy and Howard Benson.William Gilpin, treasurer, presented cash awards to each of the individual achievers for the season. They were, high average, Mrs. Sadie Koser, 119, and Howard Benson, 135; high set, Mrs. Vadine Bartik, 449, and vincent Shumaker, 521; and outstanding game, Mrs. Mary Mattingly, 200, and Paul Nicholson, 215.Mrs. Mattingly presented cash awards to the most improved bowlers, Mrs. Karen Goss, who increased her average by three pins, and Robert Mattingly, with a nine pin increase.The Hi-Lo Doubles Tournament winners were Miss Phyllis Bailey and Joseph McIntosh, first place; Mrs. Phyllis Dean and William Gilpin, second place; Mrs. Delores Davy and Fred Hamilton, third place; and Mrs. Peggy Shumaker and Bud Rowan, fourth place. Pennies were presented to Mrs. Katie McIntosh and Earl Pague for taking last place. The awards were given by Mr. Davidson.Tournament accomplishments noted that Mrs. Shumaker had a high game of 170 and Charles Davy, 190; and Mrs. Phyllis Dean had a high set of 403 and Joseph McIntosh, 473.
