pedestal cake baked by Mrs. Maxine Squires. The cake was topped with a humorous bowler and lane figurine and surrounded by white mums and greenery. Silver candlabras containing four white tapers and encircled with white and pink tinted mums, flanked the cake. The cake was served by Mrs. Laura Shumaker and Mrs. Wanda Davidson, charter members.The guest tables were centered with pink silk roses in milkglass vases. A white program book with silver lettering, made by Mrs. Koser and dedicated to Mr. Cunningham, was at each place setting. The book contained a biographical sketch of the Cunningham family which Mrs. Koser wrote.Mrs. Peggy Shumaker and Kenneth Koser, chairpersons of the nominating committee, presented the slate of officers for the coming year. Serving for the new session are Charles Davidson, president; Mr. Koser, vice president; Joseph McIntosh, secretary; and Mrs. Mary Aronholt, treasurer.Mrs. Mary Mattingly, secretary, presented each memeber with individual season average cards and a cash award. She was assisted by Mr. Shumaker.Thirteen members were recognized for perfect attendance and presented awards by Mrs. Mattingly. They were Laura Shumaker, Mrs. Wanda Davidson, Mrs. Katie McIntosh, Mrs. Peggy Shumaker, Mrs. Lib Bartik, Mrs. Marge Robinette, William Gilpin, Bud Rowan, George Bartik, Earl Pague, Robert Mattingly, Vincent Shumaker and Joseph McIntosh.Mr. Davidson presented cash awards to the Flute team for being roll-off champions.
