Canova Merchant Ends 25th YearCANOVA, July 28. (Special)-S. B* Strobel is this week celebrating his twenty-fifth anniversary as a hardware man in Canova. Mr. Strobel came from De Smet twenty-five years ago and purchased a bankrupt hardware stock and now has what is considered one of the best and most up-to-date hardware stores in the state.Mr. Strobel has been a leader in community activities in Canova, having served on the school board for aInumber of terms, has taken an active part in church work and lodge work, and has been fire chief for a number of years. He has also served as president of the commercial club for several terms. jmAn active worker in the State Hardware Man's association, he was elected president of the organization in 1929 and served for one year. Since that time he has been a member of the executive board of that association.
