much larger place.LEIPSIC SOCIALLY.,The past week was marked with two social gatherings, such as go far towards this communir ty—one that for cultured pleasant gatherings and good fellow* ship, make it a most desirable place of residence and the two surprise parties of the past week were foremost among the social events of the present season.The tirst surprise party was ] for Misses Leona and Leora Watson at the home of their parents, Mr and Mrs. Orin ] Watson and was perfect to the smallest detail that goes toward making1 a surprise party complete. The seventy-tive or more present thoroughly enjoyed the evening’s pleasure which ended only after a splendid light luncheon whicli was served at eleven o’clock and with our accord every one voiced the sentiment that the Watson home was a royal place to speud an evening. Misses Watson received a number of nice presents and a shower of birthday greetings.]1lt;1Ik A A I
