A fellow by the name of John Opet from Forty Fort, Pa., sitting in back of Bob heard his proscrastinations and leaned foward and asked Bob how much he wanted to bet. Bob said $15. The fellow said, “O.K., I’ll take that bet. They shook hands, exchanged their names and addresses and that sealed the contract.It turned out that Bob’s team won the Super Bowl game but he figured the bet was a forgotten thing as far as John Opet was concerned.To Bob’s amazement one month after the game, he received a note from Forty Fort explaining the delay and a money order for $15. from John Opet. All on a chance meeting and a handshake.But Bob has a final ending to the story. He told a fellow at work about the incident and he told Bob, “I’ll betyou a dollar you’ll never hear from him again.Bob produced the money order and won that bet too.
