Lexington Defeats Mansfield StarsBUCYRUS — It was a pitchers duel for five innings, then John Bohland came up with two men on and ended it all.Bohland’s three-run homer in the bottom of the final Inning gave Lexington little League All-Stars a 4-1 victoryover Mansfield Northwest All-Stars in the finals of the little League District All-Star Tournament.The pitching duel between Del Rose of Northwest and Bart Thomas of Lexington lasted for five innings. Thomas allowed only one hit and Rose gave up six, including three in the big, four-run sixth.Northwest struck first with on run in the fifth frame. W a y m a n Mappwalked and went home on a grounder and an overthrow. Lexington lead off in the sixth with Jay Junk’s single. He went to second on Thomas’ bunt. Mike Gunter,who had three of the Lexington hits, stroked a single, scoring Junk.
