Joe Draws Ruth SteakThe mighty Joe Louts, ^tlll packs a punch, box-office-wise, as was proved when the magic of his name helped to draw more than nine thousand into the Cleveland Arena Monday evening—altho as a performer without gloves, he might have left much to be desired. But none of the amusement seekers really expected the former Brown Bomber to be a Fred AStair or reincarnation of the late Bojangles Bill Robinson. He did just what was expected of him. He served as a foil for the capable comedy antics of versatile Leonard Reed, whose abilities as a funster could draw belly laughs even if he had been paired with the Archbishop of Canterbury. But just in case some of the ducat holders were disillusioned because Joe failed to measure upAppeals Review Board's Verdict On CompensationMrs. Sarah James King, 1352 E. 117th St., filed a notice of appeal to a decision rendered against her recently by the Ohio Bureau of Unemployment Compensation and the Cashmere Corporation of A-merioa, 2765 E. 55th St., in Common Pleas Court last week.Mrs. King contended that the Compensation Board Of Review erred in its decision in that it was contrary to law and the weight of evidence presented. Ella Johnson, Nolan Lewis, the dancing of Stuff Bryant and the Edwards Sisters and the slap stick comedy of Dusty Fletcher it is a mystery that the rafters held at all.
