CHARLES ROSS PRES.tiriIIan9fidThe annual reunion of the Ross family of Shelby county, was held on the local fair grounds Sunday. The attendance was not large as this fam ilv has been greatly decimated by death and removals. The family are descendants of August 9. and Margaret Lewis Ross, who resided many years ago in the Flat Rock neighborhood, south and southeast of this city. Both the Ross and Lewis fan ilies were very prominent All thepeople present at this reunion were in the direct line of these families. The program given was in every way pleasing and entertaining. At noon ; a fine dinner was spread. All the events of the occasion were a delight to the persons *who were present, they being Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Newton, William A. Ross, Mr. and Mrs. William Guess. Gus Ross and family, Fred Conger and family, Roy Fleming and family, all of Shelby-ville; Jasper Carlisle and family, of Waldron; Mrs. Allen Conger and son,daSvcNCaa£caCarey, of Flat Rocly Mrs. Charles A.Ross and Harry M. Guess and wife, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Lon Burrows and family, of Coldwater, Michigan; Garnet Sutherland and wife, of Rock-”llle; John Brooks and family, of Greensburg; George Cortelyou and wife of Smithland, and John Cross and wife, of London.At a short business session Mrs. ?harles Ross, of this city, was elected resident of the Ross Family Association.
