BILLING THE PICNIC.That is, Blandinsville's Farmers’ Picnic,August the 8th.Hot weatherdoesn’t seem to abate the ardor of our neighbors, the “Blandins-villians,” whose business men are pushing arrangements for the annual Farmers’ picnic that comes off in that place Thursday, Aug. 8th. Yesterday Gus Webb and John Oakman, of their bill-posting corps, were in Macomb placarding every place they could get for love or money. They gave information at this office that they had secured the celebrated Official K. *fe P. band of Cleveland, la., an aggregation of 27 colored “instrumenters” and one of thefinest bands in Iowa, as a special attraction. The day will be a great one as usual, and every vehicle wheel will turn Blandinsvilleward on that occasion.
