Stevens’ place.—Tommy Rout, of near Bethel, is visit-ing his grand parents here.—Mrs. Agnes Clark, of Defiance, visited Mr. and Mra John Krontz last week.—John Krontz has been laid up with a lame back, but is on the turf again.—Washington Butler was up to see his half brother, John Krontz, last week.—Elt;1. Welsh had one of his colts badly cut while scruplng on the road last week. '—Farmers are about through harvesting, excepting oats and that crop is about reauy to cut.-Frank Hatnmon and family, of Richland township, visited his uncle, John Krontz recently.—Mr. Lambert had his two yeur old colt badly cut and inangled by getting on a wire fence. The colt will never be just right again.—While returning home from a dance the other night, Oeo. Ball jr., went to sleep.
