Miss Valli and her troupe, featuring Bob and Dean MeNett, (the latter being the former lead guitar player with the late Hank Williams show in 1948). •went off as strong as they came on.Miss Valli, in a show-stopping undition of a traditional Swiss vodeling Jong won the undaunted approval of the entire attendance.Following a tough act. but none the less talented, Wilma Lee and Stoney Cooper appeared in their own country-style of music.Traveling from the western music jamboree in North Carolina to the Nashville Opray in 1957. both performers pleased the crowd.Tapping toes and clapping hands was the scene in the grandstand as the fiddle-playing Cooper danced his fingers across the strings.
