At the recent examination, at Columbus, of candidates ; for army surgeons, Messrs. Win. M. Clark, of Cambridge, E. P. Purdam, of Washington, and M. Hawes, of Clays-villc, received certificates as Assistant Surgeons, with a recommendation for early promotion.Drowned.—Henry E.
