auuul me ikbu*iu_Gerge Hathaway, late a section Boss on the Air Line, has suddenly become famous. At a public gathering at Ma* rengo, Crawford county, on Saturday last, after having constructed a balloon of muslin and inflated it with hot air* Mr. Hathaway made an ascension, rising about half a mile and landing about one mile from the town, the trip being accomplished in safety and to the delight of a large crowd. Mr. Hathaway used a trapeze in place of a basket on his bah loon. He proposes to bring the balloon to this city and make an ascension from Apple Tree Garden.T 4 A. it- * — A* ^t ILa AitMn
