Popular Speaker Mr, Eylar was a member of the Elephant Butte Irrigation District board of directors. He was chairman of the La Mesa Farm Bureau local. He was a former president of the Dona Ana County Farm Bureau.He was a capable and popular public speaker, R. F. Burges, one of his friends, said here today.Mr. Eylar is survived by his widow, Mrs. Calla Eylar, and a daughter, Mrs. John Tulle 'Jr., both of La Mesa. Miss Kaihleen Eylar, teacher in the El Paso schools, is his niece.Mr. Eylar’s neighbors at La Mesa I H will be active pall bearers.
