Kerr County Gold Mining Operations To Start at OnceD. M .Wilson, E. R, Seward and William Bean of Laredo, engineers connected with the Wilson-Seward Construction Company, arrived in Kerrville early this week. They are busy setting up equipment to sink a shaft and take a core of the J. A, Jackson gold mine, about 15 miles northwest of Kerrville on Johnson Creek.Unloading of equipment began Tuesday. The visiting engineers declared that prospects were excellent for producing good-paying quantities of gold. They indicated that development of the Jackson gold mine likely would result in other activities and prospecting.Two mineral deeds on land adjacent to Jackson's tract were among instruments of title filed at the court house the past week. Others are expected as the development progresses.
