PLEASANT CITY—Village Marshal Clark Hitchens, Bob Emerson and Assistant Fire Chief Galen Ellison inspect the new or the new portable pump which have been purchased by the Pleasant City Volunteer Fire Department. The department has also purchased a new two-way radio, making the Pleasant City fire fighting unit one of the best equipped in Ohio for the size of the community. The purchases, totaling about $900, were made possible by proceeds from the four Fireman’s Festivals held at Pleas ant City. This year’s festival opens Wednes day and closes Saturday.
