UIRER, WEDNESDAY, JULY 19, 1865.Base Ball nr Camden.—A very exciting andadmirably played game of base ball came off on the grounds of the National Clnb, Camden, on Monday afternoon, between the National and Washington, the former winning the game bysix inns.After the victory was announced, Mr. Charles R. Stockton was called on, and made an excellent address to the members of the two clubs,in which be allnded to the popularity of athletic games among the ancients, and was glad to see the strong favor growing up among our young men for such active sports as will conduce to thedevelopment of their muscular powers, whileat the same moment it aids to strengthen andThe addressinvigorate their mental faculties, was received with cheers, and at its close the large assemblage dispersed.
