Wilford, 84, Sebring, Fla., died July 10 in Walker Hospital, Avon Lake, Fla.He was born in South Haven, Mich., and was a resident of Huron for 35 years.He was a self-employed mason contractor.He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Huron, and the Huron Marks Masonic Lodge No. 359. He also served as a Huron councilman.Surviving are his wife, Ada Thomas; two sons, Don D., Dayton, and Ken D., Huron; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Rol (Dee) Ohlemacher and June Gockstetter, both of Huron, and Evelyn Best, Sandusky; seven grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. John (Ann) Hoy, Cleveland.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel, in 1944; his second wife, Florence, in 1979; his parents, Arthur and Mary (Close) Wilford; and a sister, Bessie.Cremation has taken place in Florida.Memorial services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in the United Methodist Church, Huron, with the Rev. Morgan, 83, formerly of 415 Tecumseh Place, Huron, died Thursday in her daughter’s home in Berlin Heights after a lengthy illness.She had moved to Berlin Heights in 1959 from Gilbert, W.Va., and then moved to Huron nine years ago.She was a member of the Wayside Temple, Castalia.Surviving are five sons, Calvin, Vermilion; Freeman and Paul, both of Amherst; Charles, Berlin Heights, and Marshall, Huron; three daughters, Helen Browning, Huron; Evelyn Fowler, Lakeland, Fla.; and Shelba Robinette, Berlin Heights, with whom she made her home; 38 grandchildren; and a sister, Nida Grimmette, Gilbert, W.Va.She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert, in 1968; and a son, Robert, in 1976.Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Hin-man Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights.
