July 18, 1952SPECIAL CRUISE OF ERIE ISLE TO WEBSTER'S CASTLE INN ON WEEKLY BASIS, IS ANNOUNCEDAn innovation to Vacationland entertainment has been launched by Roy Webster, operator of the widely renowned Castle Inn. at Put-in-Bay.Beginning tomorrow, Saturday, July 19, Webster will charter the motor ship, Erie Isle, at 8:30 p. m. for patrons to Castle Inn. The boat will return the customers to the mainland after midnight, leaving Put-in-Bay at 1:30 a. m. This service .a unique offering in itself, will be maintained each Saturday night during the current season.Mr. Webster’s daughter, Irene, announces that the charcoal barbecue ribs have never been of finer quality. The choicest of meats have been obtained for barbecuing, and this specialty has drawn high praise from hundreds of patrons, who nightly Hock to the unique rathskeller, the only leal old timer in this whole area.
