Danish Lutheran Church Member Listen to Splendid Program at the Wedge Home.The members of the Danish Luti eran church held their services ;i the Dr. Wedge farm, west of the citj Sunday, July 15, at 11 o’clock. j j large crowd was in attendance as th weather was ideal for a picnic.After partaking of a picnic dinne the following programs, which halt; been planned for July 4th, but had t«be postponed on account of the rain were given:Hymn by all.Talk by Rev. F. Peterson.Song, A Danish National Song bj choir.Song, America by Young Men’s Quartette.Remarks by P. Clausen.Hymn by all.Talk by Mr. Kirkegaard.Song, Star Spangled Danner bychoir.Hyman by all.After this program the following contests were held:Relay Sack R-ce—Boys over 12. \\ inners—-Alton Hanson, Harold Lar* son. Boys 12 and under. Winners — Raymond Nelson, Kermit Jensen.Peanut Race—Girls 10 to 15. First —Ruth Romer; Second—Olga Jensen.Girls over 15—50 yard dash. Winner—Mamie Jensen.Girls Foot Race, under 10.
