Friday, the steamer Columbus, operating between Sandusky and Marblehead, caught Roland Hunt, the clerk, who had fallen In the water, against the side of the dock and pinched him severely. jHunt was pulling a fender downjas the boat approached the dock and* the railing gave way, throwing him! into the water. The boat coming j against tin* dock caught the man,end rolled him to such an extent a«j to cause the muscles of his ribs to be badly torn. Hunt was quickly pulled out or the water and brought to his home on Wayne street in thiscity.Dr. (Traefe, who attended him, found that no bones were broken. He was resting easily last night and It is thought bis injuries will not boserious./
