Camp Ripley SoldiersTo Be In Water Show[Detroit Lakes, July 16 (UP) — This city’s eighth annul northwest water carnival Sunday will featurea parade by a motorized unit of 300 i soldiers from Camp Ripley, carnival officials announced today.The troops also will take part in I a war bond rally. Other events will | be a charm contest to name a “Miss ! Northwest” for 1943, a war bond stage show and the northwest jitterbug contest.Prizes totaling $300 will be award-j ed in the fishing derby.
