COUNTY NFO ELECTS GRAIN BOARD MEMBERSOTTERTAIL — Seven Otter Tail County NFO members were elected to the county NFO grain board last night at a meeting at the 78 Club.They were: Warren Dubbelsand Galen Evavold of Fergus Falls, Raymond Dohrer, Ed Wee and Clarence Nelson all of Rothsay, Joseph Fehrenbach of Perham and Julius Sperr of Evansville.It was reported at the meeting that the NFO in Minnesota and North Dakota had made I barley and soybean sales thatFour Drownnetted members 15 cents andseven cents, respectively, over the going market rate per bushel recently.The seventh district NFO picnic has been scheduled for Sunday, July 24, at the Detroit Lakes City Park. Weiners, buns, milk, coffee and ice cream will be furnished with serving set from 11:30 to 12:30. Afternoon program begins at 12:30 p. m. with welcome by Detroit Lakes mayor. Rep. Odin Langen will be guest speaker.A letter was read at last night’s meeting from the Minnesota Federation of Labor, requesting a meeting with the district NFO officers to learn of NFO interworkings and goals. Burton Hovland of Elizabeth is county NFO chairman.
