Considerable interest 1* added to the program by the novelties offered by the Rastus Brown Trio, Trixie Smith, Kelly nd Davis, Ross and Ross, 4 Martells the trick cyclists, Allen and Morton.An unusually and highly Interesting* three part photo play with Noble 4f. Johnson and Beulah Hall In Trooper of Troop K. hold close attention of the spectators during the showing of the films who readily encore the picture all the way through. The picture treat# entirely of the Negro and Is of our own make from the scenario of • Noble M. Johnson and produced by the Lincoln Motion Picture Company.There is told a etory picturesque in detail, beautiful in many of the Incidents and thrilling in the exciting situations. There is onward movment in the story and the enactment is con-vineiug Numerous startling features on the Mexican front are vividly portrayed. There are numerous thrills in the views of the actual conflict where a number of the opposing soldiery meet slaughter by the Negro troopers who display great military tactic. Every one with race pride should see these pictures for their educational value as well as for the .romance they depict. Manager Gibson, who always take* great Interest in his race, must be commended in securing Negro films which portray him as a man In all of the walks of •life and the big audiences are very •appreciative and clamor for more. It 4s generally understood at this house itbat when “The Star Spangled Banner'’ is being played by the orchestra prior to the commencement of vaudeville, everybody should be courteous •noUgh to stand and show respect for the flag under which they live.
