Paint house.GRAVITY STEEPLECHASE.The past week has been a banner one for this popular resort, its many attractions having amused largo throngs nightly. The program for the Sunday concert is one of exceptional strength, and the music will be furnished by the National Guard band of Boston, Percy Hayden leader.From the moment one steps Inside the entrance to the gravity steeplechase his attention is attracted and held by the many novelties. That he Is surprised is to be expected, for to find a piece of Coney island transplanted to Revere beach is something for which he was not looking. His amazement and merriment Increases, however, as he starts in to see the sights. His nerves undergo a shock from a hlowgun, his blood tingles after a trip across the earthquake floor, his youth returns after a trip down the slide, his patience is tried by a trip up the moving stairs, his pleasure Is complete by a visit to the ice cream grotto or dance hall; his troubles begin again when he visits the house of trouble and takes a trip through the cave of the winds and the 32d degree regions. Altogether, it is a very decided hit.This popular resort can be reached by electrics, also hy trains- each a flve-cent fare. Entrance is directly in the roar of state bathhouse.CRESCENT GARDENS.Visitors to Revere beach arc learning that they can see excellent vaudeville at the rustic theater at the Crescent gardens, and this resort Is tvcl! patron* teed. Performances are given at 3:15 and 8:15 daily, and the price of admission is 10 cents.The program for today's concert is headed hr Miss Marian P. Littlefield contralto, George Trewella Martin, for the past two seasons with Primrose and Dockstader’s minstrels, will sing a number of selections. Among the others will be Gus Kammerlee bass, the original Old Homestead quartet, the three de Rljrney sisters, Miss May Mooney bal-ladlst. John J. Kenney Impersonator, and Albert C. Orcutt tenor.For the ooming week a splendid bill will bo presented each afternoon and evening by Whitelaw and Howard’s vaudeville company, headed by Whitelaw and Howard in their laughable conversation act. The Partelles will present their popular acrobatic trick house in which they perform a number of thrilling feats Ed and Josie Evans will be seen in their clever “kid” act. The three de Rlgney sisters will contribute a number of pleasing songs and dances, and Will J. McDermott, the popular tramp comedian, in his unique specialty, will complete the bill. There will be dancing each afternoon and evening.
