Kirkpatrick For one hour and a half an audience of more than three thousand, fully half of whom werestanuing, listened to his thrilling and eloquentportrayal of the land of the Pharaohs; The reputation of the lecturer as an eloquent and brilliant speaker was fully sustained. It can be said that he lectured before the largest audienceever gathered together for a similarpurpose in the history of Wise county.What makes us doubly proud of hissuccess is the fact that he is a product of our county and we only voice the sentiments of thousands of his friends and admirers when we predict for him a glorious future in the lecture field.
