She will represent the Northwest at the Minneapolis Aquatennial, Competing with 13 other contestants. Nancy won the honors on the basis of beauty, poise and personality. She entered activities at the Detroit Lakes water show Saturday morningJudges had eved her in a bath-I ing suit, m sports clothes, street I clothes and formal before she was : crowned at the banquet last night. | Her appearance in the contest was sponsored by the Fergus Falls ' Jaycees. The annual Northwest Water Carnival is sponsored by Detroit Lake* Jaycees. Nancy will have her expenses at the Aquatennial paid by Detroit Lakes.
