She will represent the Northwest at the Minneapolis Aquatennial, Competing with 13 other contestants. Nancy won the honors on the basis of beauty, poise andpersonality. She entered activities at the Detroit Lakes water show Saturday morningJudges had eyed her in a bathing suit, in sports clothes, street clothes and formal before she was crowned at the banquet last night.Her appearance in the contest was sqionsored by the Fergus FallsJavcees. The annual Northwest»■Water Carnival is sponsored by Detroit Lakes Jaycces. Nancy will have her expenses at the Aquatennial pairl by Detroit Lakes. She will be in Minneapolis tor 10 days.
