Baskets of white gladiolas and mums decorated the altar at the Grace United Methodist Church in Glenwood for the wedding of Cynthia Jean Boles and Roger A, Sell. Rev. E. E. Basye performed the double ring ceremony on June 24 at 4 p.m.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Boles and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Sell, all of Glenwood.Candlelighters were Phyllis and Lisa Sell, nieces of the groom. Patti Timmerman of Omaha, a cousin of the bride, was in charge of the guest registration.Mrs. Dean Dusenberry was the organist and the pianist was Mrs. George Peterson, a cousin of the groom. She is a member of the Methodist Church.white organza gown with a cathedral attached train. The gown had long fitted sleeves with shif-flic bands on wide ruffled flounced sleeves and yoke. Tiny venice applique and pearls trimmed the dress.The headpiece had three layers of bouffantness edged with lace. The crown like design had val lace and pearl loops that were formed like a Juliet headdress. She carried a bouquet of pink roses, white daisies and baby's breath.Mrs. Hoyt Hayden, Omaha, was matron of honor Mrs. Reg Brown, Mrs. Terry Sell, sister-in-law of the groom, and Lois Bickley, Norfolk, Neb., were bridesmaids. They were attired in gowns of organza with white bodices and full sleeves accentuated with daisy trim. The skirts were softly gathered and each attendant wore a color of the rainbow. Their garden hats matched the color of their skirts. Each carried a candle in a nosegay of daisies and baby’s breath.The flower girl was Denise Boyce of Cedar Rapids, a cousin of the bride. She wore a gown identical to those of the attendants.Ed Barbour served as the best man. Groomsmen were Dennis Sell of Tabor and Terry Sell, brothers of the groom, and Alan Wright. Honorary groomsman was Jim Sell, brother:of the groom.A nephew of the groom, Marty Sell of Tabor, was the ring bearer . The ushers were Chuck Boles brother of the bride, Jon Boyce, a cousin of the groom, Mike Ghere of Marion, Iowa, and Dennis Butler of Sioux City, Iowa.The reception was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Boles, Jr. Assisting them were Mrs. Loren Blakely of Hornick, Iowa, an aunt of the bride, Mrs. Dennis Sell of Tabor, a sister-in-law of the groom, Mrs. Ed Barbour and Ginger Lunn of Emerson.Caring for the gifts were Mrs. Jon Boyce, a cousin of the groom, Mary Nelson of Bellevue, Linda Hall of Bellevue, and Mrs. Mike Ghere of Marion, Iowa.Other helpers included Lori Boles, Shiela Blakely, Jackie Boles, Patty Webster, Pam Taylor, all cousins of the bride, and Lisa Buffington. rThe bride is a senior at Wayne State College in Wayne, Neb. The groom recently graduated from Morningside College, Sioux City, Iowa and is presently employed by the Glenwood Transit Line. After a honeymoon trip to Arkansas, the bride and groom will reside at 204 Townsend.
