— L— —A bad accident occurred last Thursday while thrashing at Frank Hurra’s place. A mare belonging to John Hurm got her tail caught in a pulley and a foot length of bone was torn away. The team immediately ran away but was soon caught up. The accident gave the machine a bad shock throwing out of order numerous fixings in the interior and breaking belts which required a two hours repair work. Dr. Beardsley V. S. of Dale was iminediatly called, who dressed the wound.
