Jfoo’ffUGHT Piokio—The inembers of tbe Baptist church had a moonlight picnic sociable, musical and literary entertainment at the residence of Mr. Geo. K. Hopkins in Middletown last week. The musical and literary features were very entertaining and included the following: speech by Miss Myra Caldwell; recitation; Miss Nellie Brunner; vocal Solo Prof E A Haight; recitation and song, Mies Emma Inveen; dialogue, Misses Sophy Hopkins Leila Squier, Mary Abbott, Matters Eben Caldwell, Frank Spreen; recitations, Misses Sadie and Edith Blair. Ice cream and other refreshments lent an agreeable variety to the pleasures of the evening.
