There are some complaints from the ladies of the city, as well as from everyone else in regard to the indiscriminate use of “nigger shotters'Sijy the boys around town. Our attention has been called to the fact that the boys are not only worrying inoffen-sive citizens, but many of them have become expert and are killing mocking birds and other birds protected by law. We do not know if there is a city ordinance forbidding the use of these “nigger shooters.” If there is not, the city council would do well to look into the matter and forbid the use of them on the streets.
